*Cleanliness Campaign launched in the district under Swachhta Hi Seva Pakhwada*
Baghpat, October 1, 2023—
District in-charge Minister Jaswant Singh Saini Honorable Minister of State- Parliamentary Affairs and Industrial Development Department, Uttar Pradesh and Government level nominated nodal officer Chaitra V., Managing Director Paschimanchal Electricity Distribution Corporation, Meerut and District Magistrate Baghpat Jitendra Pratap Singh under Swachhta Hi Seva Pakhwada,had run an one-hour cleanliness campaign in the district on October 1 at Deshraj Mohalla, slum and Pakka Ghat, in which all the citizens collectively donated one hour of labor.
The main objective of the cleanliness campaign is to make the clean and beautiful to garbage filled sensitive areas and crowded places, in order to achieve this, today the Minister in-charge, Nodal Officer, District Officers and concerned officers made people aware about cleanliness by playing their part in cleanliness program by sweeping and donating labour.
District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh said that the main objective of this cleanliness campaign is to keep your surroundings clean. If you keep your locality, village, city etc. clean, you will get a clean environment. Only a clean environment creates positive thinking. He appealed to the people towards cleanliness. In the Collectorate also, all the officers and employees cleaned the public places and collectively launched a cleanliness campaign.
On this occasion, Additional District Magistrate Pankaj Verma, Chief Development Officer Harendra Singh, SDM Baghpat Niket Verma, BJP District President Vedpal Upadhyay, former District President Surajpal Gurjar, District Incharge BJP Ashok Nagar were also present.
