Brief description of the District Economics and Statistics Officer, Uttar Pradesh:-

The Economics and Statistics Division, under the Planning Department, is the primary department of the Uttar Pradesh government responsible for the collection, analysis, and publication of economic statistical data. This department provides accurate data, development surveys, and statistical reports for planning.
The Economics and Statistics Division performs functions such as collecting data and statistics for government schemes, formulating policies, evaluating, inspecting, verifying, publishing, and collecting all types of quotes and submitting them to the government.
The Economics and Statistics Division implements public welfare programs through the Family ID (One Family One Identity), Aadhaar Card Review, Critical Gaps Scheme, and Accelerated Economic Development Scheme.
