Mukhymantri Samuhik Vivah Program, Baghpat – June 12, 2026
On June 12, 2026, a grand mass marriage ceremony was organized by the Baghpat district administration under the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme at ‘Hari Castle’ in Mavikalan, Baghpat district. On this occasion, a total of 144 couples were united in matrimony following Vedic and traditional rituals.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Member of Parliament (MP) Shri Rajkumar Sangwan, esteemed MLAs of the district, and senior officials of the district administration. While blessing the newlywed couples, the guests wished them a happy and prosperous married life.
All necessary arrangements for the ceremony organized by the Baghpat district administration were executed seamlessly. In addition to cultural programs, special arrangements were made for the brides, grooms, and their families, creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and joy.
This event proved to be a significant initiative towards ensuring the dignified marriage of daughters from economically weaker families through the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme. Public representatives and officials present at the ceremony described it as an inspiring and welfare-oriented initiative for society.
MP Shri Rajkumar Sangwan, MLAs, district administration officials, and a large number of prominent citizens and family members were present on this occasion.
