Date Baghpat 22 April 2024 – Under the SVEEP awareness campaign, a district level voter awareness program was organised at Johar Public School, Baraut, under which the general people were made aware through model booths and street plays in the SVEEP awareness program.

District Magistrate/District Election Officer Jitendra Pratap Singh today in the Collectorate Auditorium, in view of the safe conduct of Lok Sabha General Elections 2024 in a free, fair, transparent, peaceful, fear-free and effective manner, announced three elections in the district for 11- Baghpat Lok Sabha constituency. The assembly covers Chhaprauli, Baraut and Baghpat, for which there are 979 polling places, on which voting will be held on 26 April 2024, in which 973029 voters of the district will enthusiastically participate in the great festival of democracy. He said that arrangements for basic facilities like electricity, water, ramp, furniture, toilet, shade, etc. should be taken care of to be provided to all the voters. He said that signage charts should also be installed at all the booths, based on the route chart, so that the people coming and going can get any information. There should be no inconvenience. There should be arrangements for lights, switches and phones at the booth. The District Election Officer directed that all the Sector Magistrate Zonals will give the verification report of the complete arrangements of all the polling places by 21st April. The District Election Officer also directed that no disabled voter should face any problem in reaching the booth. He said that there should be wheelchairs at such polling stations. Booth Mitras should be made at every polling station. The responsibility for this was given to the District School Inspector. The person who has an I card will wear a special NCC dress and will help the voters.
In order to conduct the Lok Sabha general elections safely in the district, a total of 106 Sector Magistrates have been appointed who should regularly visit and inspect their polling stations. There are a total of 979 polling booths in the district. There are 9,73,029 voters in Baghpat district, out of which 7,838 are senior citizens, 6,608 disabled, 16,946 youth voters, 4,43,687 female voters, 5,29,380 male voters. Voter information slips will be provided to all voters in which BLOs will ensure to deliver the information slips to the voters of their booth. Map of polling station, name and mobile number of BLO, details of alternative documents for voting and other important instructions will be mentioned on the voter information slip which will empower the voters and motivate them to participate in the voting process with confidence.
Along with voter information slip, voter guide will also be delivered to 1 lakh 94 thousand families of the district through BLO, which will be available in colored print. The guide will contain information about the process of voting with EVMs and convenience apps like Sweep Baghpat App, Saksham App, Voter Helpline App, Know Your Candidate App and C Vigil etc. The distribution of both the documents will take place from 9 days to 5 days before the polling date and the election office has made necessary preparations to provide the documents to all the voters. Voter Information Slip will be given to the registered voter or any adult member of his family after signing the register. These documents will be made available in Braille script for the disabled (blind).

Date 8 April 2024 – Lok Sabha General Election 2024, General Observer Shrimati R Latha ji took stock of 979 polling party departure sites and counting sites of 11 Baghpat parliamentary constituency districts.

Polling party will leave from Lakhmichand Patwari College, Khekra on 25 April 2024.

Voting will be held on 26th April at 979 polling places in the district.

Date 6 April 2024 – Training of Presiding Officers and Polling Officer I in two shifts under the supervision of Lok Sabha General Observer Ms. R Latha ji and under the guidance of District Magistrate/District Election Officer Shri Jitendra Pratap Singh ji on Lok Sabha General Election 2024 at Gateway International Public School, Baghpat.

With the aim of conducting the Lok Sabha General Election 2024 in a free, fair, transparent, safe and peaceful manner, on 06 April 2024 at Gateway International Public School, Baghpat, under the supervision of Lok Sabha General Observer Ms. R Latha ji and under the guidance of District Magistrate/District Election Officer Shri Jitendra Pratap Singh ji. Presiding, first training was given to the polling officers in two shifts in which in the first shift, 1240 personnel were to vote, out of which 40 personnel were absent, whereas in the second shift, out of 1240 personnel, 30 personnel were absent. District Magistrate/District Election Officer directed that Those who are taking election responsibilities lightly will try to run away. By identifying such personnel, effective action will be taken against them. He said that the government employees working with integrity and honesty are detected in times of disaster and during elections. The MCMC Committee is taking timely action on the applications received for certification of advertisements being published in daily newspapers. Date 31 March 2024 – Training of Zonal Magistrate appointed in Baghpat Lok Sabha for Lok Sabha General Election 2024 was organized in Baraut Tehsil Auditorium and Baghpat Vikas Bhawan Auditorium.
